Finals Week Parking Information

5/5/17: Stop Day. Housing lots and yellow lots are open. All other lots are restricted as usual.
5/8/17 - 5/12/17: Finals week. All lots are restricted as usual.

Commencement Parking Information

Commencement will occur on Sunday, May 14, 2017 beginning at 10:30 a.m. in Memorial Stadium.

Certain lots will be designated as Reserved Parking, Bus Zones, or No Parking zones. All other lots will be free, general parking on a first-come, first-served basis. All parking garages will be free as well.

Due to high volumes of traffic, we recommend arriving 2-3 hours prior to commencement for parking.

Semester Break Parking Information

5/15/17 - 6/5/17: Break during spring and summer semester. Housing lots and yellow lots are open. All other lots are restricted as usual.
6/6/17 - 7/28/17: Summer class term.  Housing lots are open. All other lots are restricted as usual.
7/31/17 - 8/20/17: Break during summer and fall semester. Housing lots and yellow lots are open. All other lots are restricted as usual.

New Garage Opens in Central District

The new Central District Garage, located just west of Hilltop Child Development Center, has opened January 18. It will be permit-only through the end of the Spring 2017 semester, and pay stations will go online later.

Current Restrictions

Jayhawk Boulevard is closed for drive-thru from 7:45 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday thru Friday.

All lots are under restriction.  Please check lot signs at the entrances to the lots and within the lots for times.

Red, blue, and gold zones are restricted year-round.


Zone Change

Lot 72 is now a Jayhawker Towers lot. The north row facing Irving Hill Road still requires a red permit to park there.

Rule Change

If you park illegally in a staff lot that you are not qualified for, your ticket price increases $10 each time you do it.  Once you hit the $75 ticket, your vehicle will be towed at your expense.  From thereafter, if you park illegally in a staff lot, you will receive the $75 ticket and immediately towed.
